Diane St. John, Elder

As part of our Global Missions outreach, our congregation receives and disperses the following offerings:  One Great Hour of Sharing, Joy Gift, Peacemaking and Theological Education. We support Daniel and Elizabeth Turk, missionaries in Madagascar, and we provide funds for denominational missions as well. The Thornwell Home and School for Children receives support each year from the church through an annual contribution and an offering donated by the congregation.

We continue to support the Jamaica Mutual Mission, a mission of the Presbytery of St. Augustine.  Our congregation contributed over $1400 to the Mutual Mission Medical trip in June 2008 helping medical and dental teams treat 1683 people.  Members of our congregation will have the opportunity to become personally involved in the Medical Mission this summer.
