We are part of a growing group of Presbyterians seeking Purpose-Driven Ministry. Our church focuses on five purposes, a model first introduced by Rick Warren at Saddleback Church in California:
Worship is the most visible of the five purposes. It is also the place where all the purposes find their foundation.

Fellowship is the major focus of Life Groups, which help people develop relationships with others.
Discipleship encourages spiritual growth among members.

Ministry is the use of spiritual gifts and talents to encourage people in their lives. A variety of ministries are being developed as we move forward.

Mission is the primary means by which the "Core" (members who actively serve in ministry and mission) reaches out to the community. Here the church acts as the hands and feet of Jesus to others.
