Individual Retirement Account Benefit - Did you know that for the remainder of 2011, you can transfer mandatory IRA withdrawals to the church tax-free?  An anonymous member did just that recently by gifting $2,500 to offset the cost of repairing the organ struck by lightning.  You may designate a specific use for use for your gift.  Consult your financial advisor on how you can make a gift to the church from your IRA, or call Michael Lee, Endowment Trust Chair at (386)755-6916.

Attention FPC FaceBookers - The Thornwell Home for Children is now on FaceBook! Click here to like their page!

Did you know that FPC has an endowment trust? The purpose of the trust is to accept gifts beyond regular, budgeted pledges and gifts to benefit the Church. The FPC trust, through the generosity of members, has established five permanent funds to provide support to FPC in the areas of youth scholarships, facility maintenance, unrestricted use, youth and operational support. Other restricted funds have also been established. You may consider a gift through a bequest (will) or planned gift such as an annuity that will pay a lifetime income to the donor with the residual going to the fund of your choice, or if the gift meets the minimum level, for the establishment of a new permanent fund named as you wish. Memorial or honor donations may also be made to the trust. Gifts of any amount are welcome and appreciated. For more information call trust committee chair Michael Lee at 755-6916 or contact any trust committee member including Rose Wilson, James Montgomery, Howard Whitaker, John McCarthy, or Charles Kime.
