Our Purpose:

We seek to serve the special needs of this congregation.  One of our focuses is for those in residential care and those being cared for at home. However, we also seek to provide support for any in our church family who may be in need.

Our Role:

We visit with shut-ins and those in residential care along with making cards to send out to anyone in the congregation. We help organize meals for the bereaved, those returning home from the hospital, or that have recently experienced trauma. In addition we assist in funerals.

Resources for memory care facilities in Florida

Many people today are faced with making a caregiving decision for a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s.  It can be a daunting task that can made easier with accurate information about options.  The committee has reviewed several websites that give very good information about options and approximate prices of the varied kinds of care that are available.

The websites do not recommend one option over another nor do they list specific facilities. They merely give general information which can be used to make an informed decision.
