Troop 85 had an amazing  Saturday on December 6—one filled with helping hands, full hearts, and a little bit of fishy fun! The morning kicked off at Parkview Baptist Church, where the troop joined several community organizations to pack meals for Catholic Charities and the Christian Service Center. Working side-by-side with friends and neighbors, everyone helped reach an incredible goal: 70,000 meals packed!  The Scouts worked hard, laughed often, and showed what real teamwork looks like....

This past weekend, Troop 85  embarked on an exciting adventure along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail , paddling from Suwannee River State Park  to the Highway 51 Bridge . Over the course of the trip, the scouts covered nearly 30 miles  of beautiful, winding river — a journey filled with teamwork, learning, and plenty of memories. Along the way, the troop had the unique opportunity to meet a geologist from the University of Florida , who shared fascinating insights about spring protection...
