We have all waited a long time for things to “get back to normal.” With Covid vaccinations behind us and plummeting infection rates locally, it is finally starting to look and feel more normal! The church is opening up, activities are returning, and a lot of “catching up” needs to be done. One of those “to dos” for Congregational Life Committee is an updated church directory. Our directory has not been updated in over a year.
During that time changes have occurred. Contact numbers and/or addresses have changed, children have had growth spurts, and new faces are among us! The committee is presently working on an update to our current directory. Our goal is to have the 2021 directory ready to hand out in September. We are presently checking and confirming contact information and offering to update any photos that need updating, as well as getting photos and contact information of new folks. If you have any changes that need to be made and have not been contacted, please call the church office with your changes or to request an updated photo.
We are also working on bringing back classes of interest for our congregation. Some of you were enrolled in the Balance Class last year that was suspended because of Covid. We are working on re-starting that class in mid-July. More details to come as we finalize plans. If you are interested in taking that class (it is free!), let me or anyone on the committee know. When we have a start date, we will have a sign-up list in the Fellowship Hall and online. (We have to have eight people to make the class.)
