A message from Pastor Goodrich

Our church leadership has decided, after much prayer, reflection, and consultation, to continue to temporarily suspend on site worship services on Sunday mornings until further notice. Moving forward, we will have worship & bible studies through our live stream. This allows you to access the programs from home with your family. Although it is the media's job to report on the outbreak, fear becomes the popular response. But this epidemic also gives our church a great opportunity to bring word of God's peace and protection into the lives of people, and allowing us the chance to pray for them. We want an educated approach to our reaction, and we don't want to lose sight of the fact that our God is above all things, including viruses!  Be cautious in your daily lives and listen to people voicing fear. Then pray for/with them and for the aid of the Holy Spirit so you can speak the grace and comfort of God in their lives. 1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Keep an eye on our website and our social media accounts.  The changes that are occurring seem to come at an unprecedented rate, and by the time you read it, even this page may be outdated.  We will do our utmost to keep you up to date via our website and are  social media platforms.   Let's use the virus to see the glorification of Christ! While fear can be a community attacker, we want to respond with rational thought, and the steadfast belief that the sovereign God of all creation loves us. Please feel free to share this response with anyone who might find it helpful, and keep checking our website and social media for up-to-date responses. With God's Love, Pastor Ken and the Staff at FPCLC
