BLESSING BOX
Our Blessing Box has been filled every week with items for people in need in our community. We put non-perishable food items and toiletries in the box. We are always in need of toiletries that are travel size. We wrap a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and a comb in a washcloth.
If you would like to donate to our Blessing box, there is a basket on the stage in the Fellowship Hall. We could also use help putting the toiletries together. Please let a member of our committee know if you would be interested in helping with this mission.
FEED MY LAMBS
Feed My Lambs is our twice a month ongoing mission project. Diane fixes 10 pans of ziti for pick up on Tuesday morning. Lisa buys and picks up the green beans, dessert, and fruit from Walmart and brings them to the church. Sharon Persons delivers the food to St. James Episcopal Church. We would like to increase the number of meals we provide.
If you would like to help with this mission, please contact one of our members. We could use cooks and people who would like to pick up the food items from the Walmart pick up area and bring to the church Sunday morning.
As always, we will have more mission possibilities for you to participate in this year! Be on the lookout for the Loud Offering every second Sunday of the month, 2 cents/meal project, Happy Feet in July/August, the Back to School Boutique in August, and the Angel Tree in Nov./Dec.
