Stewardship News

We kicked off our Stewardship campaign on September 26. You will hear some of our elders speak each Sunday during the month of October. It is my hope that you will see all the different ministries this church supports and know how important your pledge is. This church does so much for the congregation and the community. Of course, all of that takes money!

Please prayerfully consider increasing your pledge from last year or if you’ve never pledged, please consider that possibility. Many of you may give without pledging, which is great; however, our budget is based on the pledges we receive. It enables us to create a more accurate budget.

If you were able to hear or attend service on September 26, you know that McDuffie’s Sporting Goods has donated a Yeti cooler for a drawing. The name of each member who turns in a pledge on or before November 7, will be entered for the drawing. One lucky person will win the Yeti cooler. As in the past, Nikki is the only one who will see the pledge cards!

Stay tuned for more information as the campaign progresses. We hope to have a luncheon on November 7, but time (and COVID) will tell.

I am so honored to serve on the Session. I love this church and all the people who have become like family. Thank you for allowing me to serve you.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” - 1 Peter 4:10
