After joining this church as a young bride in 1975, I knew that I wanted to get involved in the activities and later in leadership. I had mentors every step and I still do, or it wouldn’t be possible. With help and guidance from our Father, I have taught and enjoyed all ages in Sunday School and Life Group settings. I was called to serve as a Deacon for two terms and as Elder for two terms, which allowed me to see the Holy Spirit work at FPCLC in the decisions that had to be made. The committees that I have served on through the years are most rewarding and I encourage your participation where you are able. Now I’m challenged to serve as Finance Elder, which along with the help of the Father and the mentors associated with this committee, I will work to do my best.
