Sexton Update

Updated: Dec 4, 2020

In the days prior to COVID-19, cleaning seemed to be straightforward. I would sweep and mop the floors, clean all surfaces as well as maintain the restrooms. I removed obvious dirt and dust making sure everything looked clean and bright but that is no longer enough.

Now that COVID-19 has arrived, the game has changed. Not only does our church need to be cleaned now but it also must be disinfected. I've been keeping up-to-date with the latest sanitizing procedures from the CDC website and others. We have recently acquired a vac-pac unit that sprays disinfectant. Everything that can possibly be sprayed down is sprayed and left wet for the allowed kill time of the disinfectant to work. This includes chairs, tables, doors, countertops, bathrooms, carpets, floors, etc. I do this multiple times each throughout the day. Rest assured that when you return these practices will continue to ensure your safety as well as that of the staff.

I miss seeing everyone and hope and pray that you are all well. Please continue to be safe so that hopefully soon we can all be together again!
