Hey everyone. In a year where we are learning to do many things in different ways… I’m excited to tell you about an opportunity to serve.
Usually about this time of year, our church members generously donate to the youth in the form of buying treats from our bake sales. These funds are then used to buy gifts for the Angle Tree Project. Due to the current pandemic, we could not execute this in the same way that we have for the past several years.
So, here’s what we’re going to do...
Over the next few weeks, our youth will be baking different items that can be individually wrapped. In a few weeks, we will collect these items and put them together into care packages. Then I, (along with a helper or two), will deliver these care packages to different places in Lake City. As of now, I have at least one Fire Station, one nurses station, and a place where I know that some of our homeless congregate.
If you would like to help, you can drop off your donation at the church office, mail it in, or give online. Just please make a note that it is for the "Youth Bake Sale".

If you would be willing, please consider making a donation to this youth effort. This way, not only will we be blessing some of the heroes and less fortunate of our area, but the money collected will still go to help with the Angel Tree Project.
